[ ]Music of the Night
You'd never get away with all this in a play,
but if it's loudly sung and in a foreign tongue
It's just the sort of story audiences adore, in fact a perfect opera!

OPERA POPULAIRE
[ ]Entrance
[image]
The main doors that greet you as you walk inside the lavish Opera House. They are the grand double wooden doors. Just remember when you enter to close the doors behind you, very quietly.

This area is always busy; morning and evening. At times when no one is there and nothing is going on, there is an eerie silence when the lights go out. During the day practices and rehearsals go on. At night the lavish shows that have been well rehearsed go on the stage. There is a box in which no one is allowed to go into, it's marked Box Five. There's also a grand chandelier that hangs above the audience.

This is the beautiful roof above the Opera House. A glorious view of Paris is lit up at night. Come up here with someone you love, or just by yourself. It's very romantic when it snows by nightfall.

No one usually goes down here anymore, except if the stagehands or new managers are having a look around.

[ ]Parisian Streets
[image]
Rainy weather, dirty streets, and mud puddles did not keep Parisians at home. Indeed the Parisians went out into the boulevards to look for amusement and to look at each other. The best way to see the city was to take long walks in the streets and parks. Parisian Streets were a permanent parade in which every visitor and every resident participated at one time or another.

[ ]Gracey Manor

Along a dark forsaken road, there stands a stark and grim abode. An old manor house looms black and tall, to cast a grave and deathly pall. Beyond the ancient wrought iron gate, a thousand nightmares lie in wait.

When hinges creak in doorless chambers...

[ ]Le Swan Chateau

A chateau covered with vines and elegant iron bars. Here lives Juliet Swan and her family, with their maids and servants to attend to their needs. There are tall green trees and lush gardens, with even a small yet confusing hedge maze near the center of the garden. Do come visit, for Juliet doesnt get company often.

The place itself was strangely at odds with the distinguished buildings of Paris. A huge red windmill dominated the front of the building, paying homage to the history of Montmartre, a village that was once dominated by windmills.

A faux Gothic castle was to the left of the exterior, and walking through plush red halls, one would come out into a garden where a mock-elephant stood-- an opium den where gentlemen could indulge their excesses. Press on further, through to the club, and a shining dance hall greeted the Parisian of this time. The club was amazing to look at; and then there was the very nature of the place itself.

Tales of this place still abound today; the opium dens, the sex for sale, the poisoning of mind and body with absinthe.

[ ]Blackthorn Asylum
[image]
Dare to explore the shadows of a forsaken sanitarium that is haunted by the souls of the dead and plagued by the dark essence of evil.

The hollow edifice of Blackthorn Asylum stands as a sinister monument to the horrors that once lurked within its desolate halls. Originally built as a sanitarium for the criminally insane, the asylum gained a grim reputation for conducting horrible experiments upon the most violent and deranged psychopaths in an attempt to extract the essence of evil.

[ ]Palais du Louvre
[image]
The Louvre Palace is an almost rectangular structure, composed of the square Cour Carrée and two wings which wrap the Cour Napoléon to the north and south. In the heart of the complex is the Louvre Pyramid, above the visitor's center. The museum is divided into three wings: the Sully Wing to the east, which contains the Cour Carrée and the oldest parts of the Louvre; the Richelieu Wing to the north; and the Denon Wing, which borders the Seine to the south.

[ ]Château de Méréville
[image]
The Château de Méréville is a chateau in Méréville in the valley of the Juine, France. It is the rival of the Désert de Retz as two of the most extensive landscape gardens provided with follies and picturesque features— parcs à fabriques— made in the late eighteenth century, early examples of the Romantic landscape garden.

[ ]Tranquils Manor
A manor that seems to blend into the woods of Paris, this is where Katrina resides with the few who dare remain within it's walls. many artifacts from times gone by adorn the insides, including a tartan, reverently draped over the back of one large chair by the fire in the library. There is also a garden outside which Katrina likes to tend to tend to when she is not otherwise occupied. Doule glass french doors open out into the sunshine or moonlight depending on the time of day

Some nights, howls from the cellar echo out into the night driving most people away. Katrina does not get company often but please knock before entering,Katrina tends to scare easily.
